Gasoline Alley in Red Deer, Alberta

July 14, 2010 by Glenn 1 Comment

Gasoline Alley, Red Deer, Alberta

Some people think that Gasoline Alley IS the City of Red Deer, but it’s not. It functions as a service centre about mid way on the 300 kilometres between Calgary and Edmonton.

Gasoline Alley is one of the most accessible way-points travelling from Edmonton to the south. Even Calgary’s Deerfoot Trail does not have any easy exit points to services. If you miss stopping in Gasoline Alley, you have to drive through Calgary and your next stop is Okotoks.
